In this study the investigators aim to compare two common methods to estimate the lung recruitment in ALI/ARDS patients.

Enrollment: 30 estimated patients

Sex: All

Ages: 18 to 90 years old

Volunteers: No Healthy Volunteers

• ALI/ARDS

• Barotrauma
