Inclusion criteria

  • ASA 1 or 2
  • Age > 18 yrs
  • Use of laryngeal mask airway required

Exclusion criteria

  • risk of pulmonary aspiration of gastric contents
  • Contraindication for the use of laryngeal mask airway
  • Tracheal intubation required
  • Patient's refusal
