Accepts Healthy Volunteers

Inclusion criteria

  • born with weight<1500 g
  • hospitalized within 48 hours after birth

Exclusion criteria

  • present with evidence or suspicion of congenital intestinal obstruction
  • perforation
  • gastroschisis
  • large omphalocele
  • congenital diaphragmatic hernia
  • major congenital heart defects
