About

The purpose of this study is to examine the subjective, psychomotor, and reinforcing effects of combined alcohol and nitrous oxide intake in healthy volunteers.

Enrollment: 8 patients

Sex: All

Volunteers: Accepts Healthy Volunteers

8 participants in 3 patient groups, including a placebo group

0 g/Kg ethanol +/- 30% nitrous oxide

Placebo Comparator group

Treatment:

Other: 0 g/Kg ethanol

Drug: 30% Nitrous oxide

0.35 g/Kg ethanol +/- 30% nitrous oxide

Active Comparator group

Treatment:

Drug: 30% Nitrous oxide

Other: 0.35 g/Kg ethanol

0.7 g/Kg ethanol +/- 30% nitrous oxide

Active Comparator group

Treatment:

Other: 0.7 g/Kg ethanol
